Rob Crumpler founded Altrooz in 2012. As CEO, Rob brings over 30 years experience in the high tech and digital media advertising space. Early in his career, Rob founded On The Go Software which became the industry leader in the expense reporting and corporate travel management space and was acquired by Intuit (NASDAQ: INTU) in 1996. Rob also co-founded BuzzLogic, where he co-authored a Patent on the methods to determine Influence on the Web, and led the company to build a “Conversation Targeting” platform that enables advertisers to reach their audiences within influential social discussions. Prior to BuzzLogic, Rob was an early member of the team at MSN, and spent seven years at Microsoft building digital media advertising products and playing a key role scaling annual revenues from $750K to over $180 Million within his division. While at Intuit, Rob led the development of the OFX Consortium, which fathered Open Financial Exchange — the de facto standard for financial reporting and transactions on the Internet. Most recently, Rob was the General Manager of SuperRewards and Head of Mobile for Adknowledge, Inc.

Crumpler received a BA in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Tom Smith has been managing engineering teams and architecting distributed software systems for over 30 years. Recently V.P. Engineering for the Social Gaming business unit of Adknowledge, Inc., Tom entered the mobile advertising industry while managing the software development for Velti USA. Velti acquired Ad Infuse, Inc., where Tom led the development of a carrier-grade mobile video ad server and management-level mobile marketing applications. Prior to discovering the excitement of mobile marketing and advertising, Tom spent several years developing derivative and fixed-income trading systems for banks and hedge funds.
Smith received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley, and he always eats his vegetables.

Shaun joined Altrooz in October 2015 as Chief Revenue Officer, overseeing all sales and business development efforts. Prior to Altrooz, Shaun spent 3 years at Amazon where he played an instrumental role in building out the original ad experiences for the Amazon Shopping app, Kindle Fire wakescreen, Amazon Mobile Ad Network (now AAP Mobile), IMDb mobile, Fire TV and their branded video products. He also scoped and built the app install / user acquisition practice for Amazon, spearheading product development and sales efforts in coordination with Amazon Media Group sales, Kindle and AAP product engineers, and leaders from the Amazon Appstore. Prior to Amazon, Shaun was Director of Sales for Millennial Media for 4+ years in the New York and San Francisco markets, growing revenues for the company from its inception through eventual IPO.
Earlier in his career, Shaun was a lead television buyer and strategist at Anheuser Busch’s Busch Media Group in New York, responsible for all sports media buying and planning, including the negotiation of multi-year sports media buys with all major television networks in an effort to secure Super Bowl and broadcast exclusivities for A-B’s flagship brands. Prior to Anheuser Busch, he started off his career at ESPN/ABC Sports in New York, where he supported sales leaders in their cross platform media efforts and agency/brand relationships. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Boston College with minors in marketing and advertising.
